A-Male 1990-2005

This story will never be over as long as there are great Jackstock. They live a long time. As a last resort someone else will be responsible for their care and the direction their lives will take. We here at Coffee Hollow have given them a good start and I am sure we will be able to provide for them a for a long time. Remember when you purchase one it is a part of American history that began when the first pair were sent to George Washington. We very seldom show the animals A-Natural. This is a good shot of A-Male in his winter suit one year when it was too cold to shear. He has a Mammoth hair cut (tufted ears, clean face and neck) like they did in the old shows in the south and still do, it is done so that nothing can be hidden - clean ear - smooth eye - straight nose - long neck - clean under jaw - etc. He had just won at the Fort Worth Stock Show the same year he won High Point Jack for S.D.M.S. . To me I see him in his own oat field in his own red curly coat looking the way he always does (He sets up naturally). Somehow no matter what we expect of him he is in himself just right. A-Male is a dream on feet for mule breeders. At the same time he can produce really fancy Jackstock. He will grace our website as long as we support it. We remember him and his contribution to the breed.
