For
those that have seen this group of red mammoth jennys there have
been many that say they can't be matched as a herd. They were
all individually chosen as youngsters from fine old studs in the
deep south or were already show animals that we wanted for foundation
stock. All have white mane and tails. Some few are lace rosette,
others are red roans, many are deep red sorrel, and some are blonde
sorrel. All but two are over 56 in. and there are a number over
60 in. (Red, Agnes, Rising Star, Hazelnut, Faye).
Angelica
and Mystic are all very tall, big bodied and drafty. Look again
at our champion jackstock and see how smooth they are. Anglefire,
Tille, Sugar, Jill, etc., are a little smaller - 56 to 58 in.
- and produce wonderful performance animals. Then there is Buffy
that is 57" and bred to A-Male had over 60" offspring.
Most of our Jacks will be 59" to 62". Our jennys will
be 56 to over 60". Two of our recent halter winners come
from Commanche and Dolly Red Head who are two of the smaller perfect
ones. All the animals were chosen for conformation and balance.
They are fault free. There are no incorrect bites and have never
produced any. All have correct ear set and good sound straighter
than average legs. They will all show and win. Some will have
that special something that will draw the Judges eye. Every animal
we have shown at halter placed the first time out. WE want to
produce something for you that will be a pleasure for many years
to come, that will suit your needs, that will have excellent health,
be trouble free and that you will love and care for forever. It
is a big order. Coffee Hollow will always stand for excellence,
we will always try our best to help you gain whatever skills and
training you wish with people we have or know to be helpful. We
will always welcome those who are sincerely interested in enjoying
and caring for equines. We will always tell you all that we know
about care and breeding and we will find someone to help you if
we don't know. If we don't have what you want we know many people
and will probably be able to locate for you.
We have 4
black jennys that we have not had any experience with this year.
They are bred to Moonshine. We know a lot about him. He has a
very deep pedigree on both sides and he will surely help these
jennys. If anyone knows of good black jennys that have recorded
papers or can be proven to have some continuity we are interested.
